A Measurement Mode Selection Method for Radar Coincidence Imaging

Published in 2026 IEEE 14th Asia-Pacific Conference on Antennas and Propagation (APCAP), 2026

To address the limitation of resolution performance caused by the high spatial correlation of radiation fields in radar coincidence imaging (RCI), this paper proposes a measurement mode selection method based on frame potential minimization. By incorporating a Gram matrix update strategy, the proposed method enables the efficient selection of an optimal subset from a massive pool of candidate measurement modes. Numerical experiments demonstrate that the proposed approach effectively enhances the system resolution.
